Our Story
The Sentinels Story
A few local passionate rugby men approached the TRFU in 2010 wanting to make a contribution to Taranaki Rugby and asked how they could help. The Sentinels concept was born — a group who watches over, guards and supports Taranaki Rugby.
As a result of the Sentinels stewardship and support, Taranaki Rugby has been able to bring in the likes of James Broadhurst and Charlie Ngatai to our province who have gone on to excel at Super Rugby level and represent Taranaki with pride.
Taranaki Sentinels is an exclusive group who want to promote on-field excellence in Taranaki Rugby by contributing to retain and attract the best possible players.
This is a one year investment with a right of renewal.
