Taranaki Civil to shout Inglewood children to the rugby

Taranaki Civil Construction will be shouting Inglewood primary school students to watch the Yarrows Taranaki Bulls in their backyard later this year.

The Inglewood based business will be providing a General Admission Child's ticket to one match at the TET Stadium & Events Centre for Inglewood youngsters who attend Inglewood Primary School, St Patrick's School, Norfolk School, Kaimata School, Egmont Village School, Ratapiko School and Waitoriki School.

“We want as many Inglewood locals as possible to come along and enjoy afternoon rugby in their hometown”, said Taranaki Civil.

Taranaki Civil has become one of the leading suppliers of roading, drainage, earthworks and chip sealing in Taranaki since it was established in 2004. They have grown and diversified over the past 15 years and now employ 90 staff. In 2020 Taranaki Civil has also become a Yarrows Taranaki Bulls Official First 23 Partner, and will have their brand displayed on the back of the Yarrows Taranaki Bulls hooker's jersey.

Taranaki Rugby Chief Executive Officer Laurence Corlett was thrilled to have a local Inglewood business get behind Taranaki Rugby ahead of the season at the TET Stadium & Events Centre.

“Taranaki Civil has been supporting Taranaki Rugby for the past five years. The business and their team have become a recognisable brand in the region and are proud and significant supporters of their local community.  As an old boy of Ratapiko School who could only dream of watching the Taranaki rugby team play in my backyard, I know how much this experience will mean to these young rugby fans” Corlett said.

Taranaki Rugby Business Development Manager Jimmy Fastier was excited about Taranaki Civil giving Inglewood children the chance to attend a live Yarrows Taranaki Bulls match.

“Taranaki Civil, shouting Inglewood children is fantastic news for Inglewood families”, he said.

The complimentary tickets will be distributed to participating schools prior to the Mitre 10 Cup season commencing. Taranaki Rugby will confirm with participating schools which Yarrows Taranaki Bulls game(s) they will be allocated tickets to closer to the time.
