“The Sharkie’s have worked hard this season, building week on week, with the finals weekend always being our end goal. We are playing for each other out there and want to make Southern history by bringing home the trophy!”
Devon Berry – Coach:
“Our season has been strong considering COVID-19 disrupted our flow, the women have continued to perform at a high level and shown improvements each week which is impressive. We are excited to take on Saturday’s challenges and best of all have it all take place in our own environment. Finals always brings strong rugby and we know Clifton will be turning up ready for the battle. History is in the making and we just can’t wait for kick off.”

Nat Haupapa & Chelsea Folwer – Co-Captains:
“We are so proud of how far our team has come from the start of the season. There is a lot of young talent this year and we keep getting better each game. We are all looking forward to this final against Southern. Looking forward to seeing the Clifton support in Hawera.”
Geri Paul – Coach:
“The season has been really good on the whole as far as player growth and development. We have gained a lot of young talent and their game has grown so much that the Port Taranaki Whio has already taken most of it in. The senior players have led well and team camaraderie couldn’t be better. As for tomorrow I haven’t got much to say except its nil all and we can't wait.”
