
Pipetech have signed on as Taranaki Rugby commercial partner for the 2022 season.
The Bell Block based firm specialise in trenchless relining of sewer and stormwater pipelines with their licenced uPVC fold and form liner system.
The business completes jobs for local government, the education department, private firms, and residential customers with their recent client base including the City Care (New Plymouth District Council), Stratford District Council, South Taranaki District Council, Masterton District Council, Veolia Water Services – Papakura, Wairoa District Council, Whanganui District Council, and Ashburton District Council.
As part of their Yarrows Taranaki Bulls First XV Partnership Pipetech will have their brand displayed on the upper back of the #5 jersey.
Pipetech is led by Managing Director Rowan Burgess who has over 20 years’ experience in the civil construction industry and Operations Director Maifea Maifea who has been with the business for over a decade with an extensive knowledge of pipe lining and patching throughout New Zealand.
Burgess and Maifea are both well known in Taranaki rugby circles. Burgess played CMK Club Rugby in the midfield for Inglewood and Maifea had an extensive career with Inglewood and Taranaki B. He also played six matches for the Yarrows Taranaki Bulls after debuting against Whanganui back in 1999.
Rowan, Maifea and the Pipetech team are looking forward to joining the Taranaki Rugby commercial partner family and watching the Yarrows Taranaki Bulls ‘acting like gentlemen and playing like beasts’ during the 2022 Bunnings NPC season.
