Taranaki Rugby is delighted to welcome family owned bee keeping business Egmont Honey on board as a new commercial partner. The Egmont Honey brand will feature on the shorts of the Port Taranaki Bulls team for the 2017 season.
A proud family business, Egmont Honey was founded by father and son team, Toby and James Annabell. Egmont Honey CEO James Annabell said the proud local company was delighted to join the family of Taranaki Rugby commercial partners. “As a former player, I am excited about the opportunity to partner with Taranaki rugby. We will be very proud to see our logo (Mt Taranaki) on the shorts of every player this season.“
“With access to TRFU players for promotional purposes, we are very keen to do something positive for the community which we will be announced soon. “
Taranaki Rugby Commercial Manager Geoff Hitchcock said the support of commercial partners like Egmont Honey was critical to the ongoing success of Taranaki rugby.
“It is fantastic to have Egmont Honey come on board for the 2017 season. A strong base of commercial partners remains vitally important to the on-going success of the Port Taranaki Bulls team and Taranaki Rugby in general. This is another example of a relatively new local company supporting our province and the community through our national game. We encourage all our fans to get into some great tasting Egmont Honey.”
